Zig clean color real brush markers

Today I organized my 80 pack of Zig Kuratake clean color real brush markers. I used this Color chart. I wanted to put them in an organizer so I bought this one Mont Marte 96 Hole Plastic holder from Amazon.

It works perfectly!!! I have a couple squares (16!) to hold water brushes, brushes, or pens!

I split the chart into sections of 10 to match my rows. And then put them in order. I have a 2nd empty one I will recolor and label the location better with row letters and numbers probably 🙂

This was a simple start to a better way to find the right color!

Hope you enjoy!

Do you have another way to store your Zig markers? Show me! I’d love to see! Since I haven’t labeled my holder yet I’m not committed :-p

Additional storage share

I wanted to share some more of the items I use for storage with you.
These are two cards I received from Amy R (prairie paper & ink) and Lizi (love from Lizi)

Here are some of my papers in trays on what retail stores call H units. They are slat wall on wheels. I have my prima papers on one side and some other brands also on here

I have a long wall area where I created a shelf type area. On it sits my wife paper racks I bought from a prior store owner who was getting rid of them. This is where I keep my Graphic 45, authentique, and some boBunny papers. I have a lot of retired lines of Graphic 45 I bought from destashers.

This is an older train case/make up suitcase I decopauged to use as a “traveling studio”

This is my large format HP printer that allows me to print 12×12 paper patterns if I need them

Below my printer is my 3 cutters. I have a cricut explore, cameo 3, and brother scan n cut 2

I found this cute little thing at Goodwill for $20. I thought it was vintage but when I bought the above paper racks found that it is a cd storage system. No matter it is still PERFECT for my rather large collection of Lindy Stamp Gang sprays.

Below are my paper storage for card stocks – this includes my MFT, Altenew, Simon says Stamp and Micheals card stocks. I have 4 (maybe 5?) drawers from recollections that I keep the Micheals cardstock in.

My pride of storage is my OrganizeMore ink units. I have 3 of them. 2 standard 60 slot ones and 1 distress unit. The distress unit has a spot for reinker and markers.

Next is sequins – this gem I have seen many YT crafters use. It’s very handy!

I love kits! My SSS kits are in my cube system from recollections. I write the month on the box

My Nuevo drops- a SaCrafters storage unit for glitter glued and such

If you would like specifics on any of my storage please let me know. I am happy to go more in depth if the desire is there.

Long time and no posts

Hello my fellow crafters I am so sorry that it has been so long since my last post.
Everything else in life seems to get in my way of my desire to craft and share with you.
I have been working on ways to organize my supplies in my craftroom. And trying to stay
on top of any new supplies I have ordered in.

For my stamp and Die sets I use the fridge bins like Jennifer McGuire uses but I have fewer.
I try to organize by company and either put them in sleeves from Simon Says Stamp or leave them
in their plastics and combine dies into the stamp carrier.

For Paper I am using some job ticket holders from Amazon. I have my MFT cardstock, Altenew, and Simon Says in these
sleeves with their color names on them. I have far more MFT than Altenew or SSS but I love all the rainbow colors.
I also have alot of Micheals cardstocks that I have put into the recollection cubes and tried to make colors close together,
and specialty in a seperate drawer and of course all my white, black and kraft is seperate (cause there is just soooo much of it)

I have been playing with watercolors – thanks Amy R (prairie paper and ink) and Alicia (crazy paper chick) for getting me into the
clean color real brush markers and the other pallets.

During my most recent crop I played with ink smooshing. I had a good amount of fun doing this. There was no expectations and I got some
neat looking backgrounds out of it. Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors, starry colors and 36 color sets are all great sets for this technique.

This last one is my favorite and it was made with distress oxide inks. If you haven’t checked them out and are already a distress fan take a look at them.

Im linking to some of these products on Amazon in case you have not seen them before 🙂

Videos

I have 2 of 3 card kits – Simon says stamp, my hero from hero arts and the one I haven’t gotten yet is Love from Lizi.

I am a novice card maker. I see tons of 10 cards 1 kit videos on YouTube. Would you like to see a novice version?

Please let me know with a comment: yes or no?

Cameo 3 – card

So I made a card for my boss today. He calls me Wonder Woman so I made a super man logo but with a P for purchasing. I used my cameo to take a image from google and make it into a cut file. Don’t ask me how as I’m surprised I managed it myself.

I also used a chibitronics light to make the emblem light up

Here’s the photos
Tell me what you think 😃

Wire bound 11.5×11.5 Baby album

A few years ago I made my first wife bound book. It was a gift for the daughter in law of the head pastor of our rather large church, she had been in a small ladies group I was in when they announced their pregnancy. I worked tirelessly on it and I was pretty novice at the time. I made 52 pages (26 front and back) with two baby onsies on each page with stamped journaling on one and the other for a photo.

I went a little easier with this version. I used chipboard that is fairly thin so I tripled it for the covers and just one for each of the internal pages. I got a chip decor letter and used my cricut cartridge that is from Hobby Lobby for those letters and designs and cut out a pattern to cover the letter. Glued that on top of a pattern papered cover, and then Proceeded to cover all the internal pages. I did use Authentiques Cuddle for boys paper line. It came out very cute. I put 2 cutaparts on the pages as well (not in the photos! Did them later)

The mommy LOVED the book and looks forward to filling it with photos. Thought I would share it with you all.
Let me know what you think. Not too shabby for a few hours of work.
